We are an owner operated small tour company on a mission to put the wonder back into travel. Our tours may cater more for the active young at heart rather than the backpacking generation but still strive to retain a sense of adventure! We also want to encourage inexperienced travellers to go on tour with us, or those who don’t wish to travel alone. Our tours are kept to a maximum of 14 people to create an informal and friendly experience for participants.
We want our guests to really experience a country or city rather than rush from attraction to attraction. We believe good food and drink, comfortable accommodation, the right mix of outdoor activities and good fun are the essential elements of a memorable holiday.
Our tours are designed to strike a balance between sightseeing and guided walks of no more than 7km per day along easy to moderate terrain, with plenty of down-time for rest and relaxation.
Slovakia enjoys warm and sunny summers, perfect for outdoor strolls and combining relaxation with a little healthy exercise! Slovakia is also a land of ancient castles, awe inspiring scenery, and breathtaking national parks with intact eco-systems.
We also invite you to help us sample Slovakia’s mouth watering cuisine, beers and wines, which are sure to delight the palate and go very easy on your pocket!

Keith and Jana and their Journey in Wonder
Keith and Jana met 3 years ago while Jana was touring around Ireland with friends. Keith and Jana were to discover they both had a dream to set up unique, personalised tours to show people around their respective countries of Slovakia and Ireland.
They decided to follow their dreams and set up Journey in Wonder Tours back in May 2012. Jana likes to look after the organisational aspect of each tour while Keith focuses on planning and guiding the tours. After organising our first successful summer tour of Slovakia back in August 2012, we are now offering a series of 7 day summer tours to Slovakia in 2013 from May to August. Due to several enquiries, we are also offering a more strenuous hiking version of our tour in August.

About Keith
Keith Corcoran is a 37 year old writer, international tour guide and community worker, based in County Donegal, in the scenic North West of Ireland. He is the co-founder of the SpunOut multi-award winning national youth agency, which reaches over half a million young people per year.
Keith holds qualifications in Journalism, Cultural Studies, Irish History and Meditation Instruction and has over 15 years experience as a tour guide and walking group leader. In partnership with his partner Jana, Keith launched Journey in Wonder tours in August 2012 to offer unique personalised touring experiences in Central Europe, Ireland and his native Donegal.
